The growth of hybrid-cloud

IT infrastructures are evolving and are no longer static entities marked by predictable growth. According to IDG Research Services, over three-fifths of IT applications are currently delivered via on-premise platforms. In three years’ time, this figure is expected to plummet to just over one-third (35%), while IT services delivered via cloud will increase to 65%, up from 38% today.

Forrester Research says hybrid clouds are gaining widespread market adoption because they leverage existing IT resources while integrating into public and private cloud environments. It provides greater control over your data, improved application performance, and enhanced collaboration all while helping to centralise IT management.
